Privacy and SMS terms

This page explains what Sunnyside Taxi of Hudson does with the information you send when you request a pickup, and how our ride text messages work.

What we collect

• Your pickup and drop-off addresses, the time you want to be picked up, and any notes to the driver.
• Your mobile number, so dispatch can confirm and update your ride.
• Your location, only if you tap "Use my current location" and allow it.

How we use it

We use this information only to arrange your ride or delivery and to contact you about it. We pass your request to our dispatch team using our text messaging and email providers, who handle it on our behalf.

To suggest addresses as you type a pickup or drop-off, our server sends the text you've typed to Photon, an address search built on OpenStreetMap. It gets only that text, never your mobile number, location, or internet address.

We do not sell your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Ride text messages

• When you submit a request, you agree to receive text messages from Sunnyside Taxi of Hudson about that request, such as confirmations and pickup updates.
• Message frequency varies with your requests. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or call (518) 291-8778.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How long we keep it

We keep ride requests only as long as we need them to run the service, handle questions about a ride, and meet legal or accounting requirements.
